Khelsey Marshall - Mentor
Ms. Marshall was born in Washington D.C. and is a proud product of the Gorgeous Prince George’s County Public School System, having attended Carmody Hills Elementary and G. James Gholson Middle School before graduating from Suitland High School's Visual and Performing Arts Program in 2008. Currently she is attending Bowie State University College of Education, with a cumulative 3.477 GPA. She has worked for the Prince George's County School System for the past 3 years as a Substitute Educator in school districts 4, 5 and 6. Ms. Marshall believes, It's about the children. Olivia Fenwick - Mentor
Olivia Fenwick is a native of Prince George’s County, MD and a class of 2019 graduate from Bishop McNamara High School in Forestville, MD. Olivia is currently a second year Interdisciplinary Studies major with a minor in Leadership Studies at Hampton University. Olivia is dedicated to service and collaboration which helped lead her to becoming a mentor at Bold, Beautiful, Brilliant Youth Empowerment Group. As a mentor, she hopes to continue to create an open environment for the girls and create a relationship with them that fosters respect, honesty, and curiosity. Olivia currently plans on pursuing a career in teaching by enhancing the educational experience for students through new and unique programs and policies. |
Cidnee Boykin - Mentor
Cidnee Boykin was born and raised in Prince Georges County Maryland. She is an honors graduate from the Illustrious Bowie State University, Class of 2019 with a degree in Child and Adolescent Studies with a focus on Elementary Education! Boykin says, "Being a product of Prince Georges County schools, it was only right I went back to teach the students where I once sat. As a second year first grade teacher at Rosaryville Elementary School in Upper Marlboro Maryland and it gives me a great joy to share the knowledge and resources I have to teach and mold my students into the leaders of tomorrow." Cidnee was delighted to become a mentor with Bold Beautiful Brilliant Youth Empowerment Group because these young ladies are the leaders of tomorrow. Her hope and goal, which align with the mission and goals of BBBYEG, is to implement tools that allow the young ladies to dream big, develop leadership skills and be the change they want to see in the world. She is beyond thrilled to be on this journey! |
Jordyn Broadnax - Mentor
Jordyn Broadnax is a Prince George’s native and graduated from Bishop McNamara High school of Forestville, MD in 2019. Currently, Jordyn is a second-year Biology major and attends Hampton University. Jordyn has grown up being mentored by others and this has motivated her to become a mentor at Bold, Beautiful, Brilliant Youth Empowerment Group. As a mentor, Jordyn hopes to create a genuine and safe place for the girls and pour into them the way she was poured into while being mentored. Jordyn plans on pursuing her medical degree and becoming a neurologist that has a focus in Alzheimer research. |

Robert Marshall - Mentor
Robert Marshall is a native of the Washington D.C. area. He has served 15 years in the military and has been a police officer for 13 years. He is currently a school resource officer in the D.C. Public School System. He has a passion for community service and working with children. Robert has studied at Florida A&M and the University of Maryland specializing in law enforcement. |
